The Australian have run a piece about the 1996 Sokal scandal by Simon Blackburn, a professor of philosophy from Cambridge, taken from his book How to Read Hume.

It is interesting that people on the "right" in the USA culture wars, who otherwise support the work of Sokal, do not have much to say about the systematic war against scientific fact and truth being waged by the Bush administration against those who promote science in defense of the real public interest re health and safety and envoronmental issues.
